5 Fun Breakfast Ideas

We all have our morning routines that we are accustomed to but why not break away from the mold and start off your days with a little bit more excitement. Here are 5 fun breakfast ideas to spice up your mornings!

  1. Baked Breakfast Boats
If you want to try something new but don’t want to experiment too much with your food, the baked breakfast boat is perfect for you! And the best part; you can use whatever breakfast ingredients you want! Start off by cutting and pulling out some of the middle of your bread roll or baguettes. Put those to the side and prepare your breakfast ingredients. Once your mixture is complete pour the mixture into the bread boat and bake them for 25 minutes or until the center is completely cooked. Take your breakfast boat out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes and then sit back and enjoy!

  2. Fruit Ring Pancakes
Love fruit? Love pancakes? Why not combine the two? These fruit ring pancakes will give you a sweet, refreshing start to your day. But be careful because once you start eating these fruity breakfast treats you just can’t stop!
    • First, choose your pancake batter, whether you like to have homemade batter or simply choose the boxed batter, and start mixing.

    • Then, slice and core the fruit of your choice (pineapples, apples, pears, peaches, they sky is the limit!).

    • Once you are done with your fruits, you are going to dip the fruit rings into the pancake batter and place them on a heated pan until they are a golden brown color.

    • Then, of course, serve and enjoy!

    • Tater Top Breakfast Bites
Who doesn’t love bite sized meals that are easy to make and even easier to eat! These tater tot breakfast bites are like little cups of satisfaction that will probably have you going back for seconds once you are done!

You will first need a cupcake or muffin pan that is greased really well to ensure your breakfast cups don’t stick to the pan. Then take thawed tater tots (this won’t work if they are frozen) and place a few tots in each muffin tin. Once you are done, take a small cup and squish the tots flat in each tin. Put these to bake for 10 minutes at 350°. While you wait, mix the breakfast ingredients of your choice together. Take the tater tots out of the oven and pour your mixture into each tin over the cooked tots and put back in the oven for 20 minutes. And there you have it! Mouthwatering breakfast bites that will have you starting your day off with a smile!

    • Fruit Yogurt Cones
Don’t you every wish for something easy and delicious for breakfast but without having to cook? Well your wish has been granted. These fruity yogurt cones are a fun, healthy breakfast treat for anyone and everyone. All you need are some waffle ice cream cones, fruits of your choice, and your favorite yogurt.

Take the waffle cone and start off by scooping some yogurt in it, then add some more fruit and another scoop of yogurt. Once the cone is full, top it off with a few more pieces of fruit (or even other toppings like nuts, raisins, or chocolate chips) and then place the cones in the freezer for about an hour. This will ensure they are chilled but not frozen. Now the only thing left to do is enjoy the fruity breakfast goodness once you take it out of the freezer.

    • French Toast Rolls
Want to start of the morning with something sweet? Try a French toast roll. It’s like your typical French toast breakfast, just ten times better! First, take a few slices of white bread and cut off the crust then flatten the pieces out. Once the slices are flattened, place the filling of your choice on the bread keeping It close to the edge. The filling choice is endless so feel free to use whatever you want!

Now roll them up. Once everything is all rolled up, dip them in a mixture of beaten eggs (like you would usually do when making French toast) and place them on a heated pan until each side is nice and golden brown. We aren’t done yet! Once the rolls are taken out of the pan, roll them in a mix of cinnamon and sugar and breakfast is served! You can eat these sweet rolls as is or you can dip them in some syrup to add some extra sweetness to your morning!
